Explore my travels around the world, mostly for birding, but always learning about and enjoying amazing wildlife. Each region below links to its own page, where you’ll find trip reports and stories grouped together.
Asia

I’ve been to China 5 times and to India twice. Other Asian countries I’ve visited are Malaysia, Mongolia, and Türkiye (yes, most of the country is in Asia). I love Asian birds like the gorgeous Orange-bellied Leafbird on the left.
South America

I also love tanagers! What could be prettier than this Brassy-breasted Tanager? I’ve had one short trip to Colombia, two trips to Ecuador, and one trip to Brazil. I loved the continent so much that I will be spending a month in South America this fall.
Central America

Central America is close and easy and I’ve been to Belize, Panama, and Costa Rica. I anticipate more trips to Central America to see beautiful birds like this Golden-collared Manakin.
